PROCESS It's our final week at Side Hustle portfolio boot camp and our task for this week is to build a music application to be hosted on the Google Play store; an avenue to work with mobile app developers.
We first held a meeting with the different teams to know the way forward and start on execution. Once again, to make things easier, we divided ourselves into a mobile app and a web version team. This was to help speed up the process and also to help with clear-cut roles for all team members. To make things easier and so we could meet up on time, we created a sprint backlog using Asana software.
This sprint backlog contains all sub-tasks towards the success of the music app.

Product Vision: The Museic app is built specifically for users to have a smooth interface. Ability to listen to music as well as curate a playlist. Museic apps also have maximum control of Ads while your music is on and it also gives notification on updates in the music industry.
We proceeded to make our user research and we were able to collate responses as well as evaluate users' interaction with other music apps. Link to users' research: [bit.ly/3RMPLwU]
Competitor Analysis: After doing a comprehensive competitor analysis, we identified Spotify, Youtube Music, Apple Music, and Deezer as major competitors for our online music streaming App - MUSEIC We made some research about our competitors so that we could have heads-up on how to get better with our user interface, requirements, features, and restrictions to consider. We looked some of these Apps up; Boomplay, Music player, Plum music player, Audify music player, and the like.
This analysis gave us insight into their strategies, offerings, tactics, and how they provide value to their target users. It also helped us think of ways to leverage what they were not doing and provide better service without App - A completely free service where you can listen to Ads free, and offline.
User flow: We were able to analyze our user experience on the app using Miro for our user flow. Link: [miro.com/app/board/uXjVPOzVxN4=/]
User Persona 1: Wale: Wale is a married man and also a driver that loves to listen to music in his leisure time or when he's having his family time.

User Persona 2: Bridget Bridget is a student and also an artist. She loves to listen to music while reading and drawing because it helps her assimilate and also gives her inspiration to draw better.
